The Northern Choral Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce information regarding their 2010 Christmas Concerts.    This year’s Christmas Concerts on December 11th and 12th will feature G.F. Handel’s “Messiah” under the direction of Sara Gleason at First Presbyterian Church where Ms. Gleason currently serves as Music Director.  A letter will be sent to singers registered with the group early this fall as rehearsal schedules and other information is available.  Information can also be found at our website: www.northernchoralsociety.org   Not for publications, but for your information, please contact Linya Bell at (315) 785-5643 should you have questions or need further details.

The History of Northern Choral Society

Northern Choral Society was started in 1954.  It is an ecumenical community group with about 100 vocalists, an orchestra of nearly 25, and a children's choir of 22.  This group is funded in part by the Northern New York Community Foundation.

The tentative concert schedule for this year is December 11 and 12.  Mark your calendars!
